Nassau

Our second stop was Nassau.  We left Bimini in the morning and arrived in Nassau at sunrise the next day, having to slow down so we didn’t arrive in the dark.  This is a busy commercial harbor with lots of traffic, including many cruise ships.  We didn’t meet any coming in the channel.   We traveled here alone but met up with Ultra that afternoon.  We were able to get fuel and anchored near the marinas.  We only stayed here one evening and left the next morning with Ultra.  We did have a chance to go to a Starbucks, a Radio Shack, a hardware store, a grocery store, and a marine store.  The frappucinos were over $5 so we will probably not go here if we pass through Nassau again.  We believe Nassau has the only Starbucks in the Bahamas.   Here is the blog entry for Nassau.
