Lee Stocking Island

Lee Stocking Island is the property of the Perry Institute for Marine Science.  This research institute has been funded by NOAA(National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), but they recently lost this funding.  Normally, there would be scientists doing various studies on the island, but the only people there, other than the small staff, were a group from a college.  Tours are offered three times a week so we took advantage of this opportunity to learn more about their work.  Blog for Lee Stocking Island is here.
