The path was wide and sandy near the beach and then narrowed as we got inland. There are always interesting places to walk on the islands here. We’ve never run into any creatures such as snakes or sharks, but we do stay out of the water in late afternoon as that is when sharks come out to feed.
After our hike, we saw some fishermen coming by on their way to Little Farmer’s. We stopped them and bought one pound lobster tails for $10 each. They were freshly caught, but we put them in the freezer for later.
We are just staying here for the night and will leave tomorrow morning on our way north. The anchorage filled up throughout the day, as other people arrived who didn’t want to go into Little Farmer’s. There isn’t much there except a few restaurants, a small store, and an air field. However, it is a quiet little town and a pleasant place to visit.
