All beaches in the Bahamas are public up to the high tide water line, but visitors are “discouraged” from going ashore. We heard Oprah Winfrey sends her security guards down to chase people away.
Above, we are in shallow water off Musha Cay where we had heard at low tide you can find piles of sand dollars. We found some, but perhaps we chose the wrong area because they wren’t as thick as others told us. Also, maybe they were picked over by now. Still, we enjoyed wading and Daisy came along because it was shallow enough for her to walk in the water. She did find a big starfish, but it was alive. To see more photos of Musha Cay, click here.
