However, the work never stops on a boat. Luckily, all systems are working well now, so Mark can relax for awhile. I just hung some laundry outside and washed the salon floor. We had fresh bread for breakfast and sun tea. Mark took Daisy ashore to a beach where she can run in the water and chase up and down off leash. No one else uses that beach so it’s safe for her to run free. When other people are around she is always on a leash, so this is a fun place for her. Of course, when they return to the boat it’s difficult to keep the sand from collecting on the floor so that has to be cleaned twice a day after her shore visits.

We went back to Sampson Cay today via the dinghy to make some phone calls on our Bahamas phone where the signal was stronger and to get some fuel in the jerry cans. Diesel was $4.08 a gallon and gas was $4.46 a gallon. That isn’t too much more than we paid in the States at marinas in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.

It seems that every cay in The Exumas is different, so whenever we take a walk and go over a hill, we are greeted with new views. The photos on this page are all from the same general area, yet you would think that you are on completely different islands.
